Passport for the Prosthesis

New Identification Document from Otto Bock

Summer time – holiday time: Prosthesis wearers are well prepared for their next trip with the new Prosthesis Passport 647F308 from Otto Bock. This identification document contains personal data like the holder's name and date of birth as well as important information on the respective upper or lower limb prosthesis. In addition to the manufacturer’s component identification, the Prosthesis Passport also confirms that some components of the prosthesis are made of metal and provides other information. This helps to prevent waiting times and problems, for example during security checks at airports. The Prosthesis Passport is made of wear-resistant plastic and is available in the languages of German, English, French, and Spanish as well as Russian and Arabic.
Prosthesis wearers can have their Passport completed at their orthopedic workshop and can order a new one at any time by calling +49 5527 848-3411.
