Road Show Leads to Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich
The SuperFour® outdoor vehicle goes on tour through Germany. The manufacturer, Otto Bock HealthCare, invites the public to three road shows in Berlin, Munich, and Hamburg where visitors will get the opportunity to see the qualities of the four-wheel drive hybrid vehicle for themselves on a test course.
After numerous presentations of the SuperFour® during events, rehab trade fairs, car shows, and on the international tourism exchange in Berlin, the two-day road shows are aimed at the general public. "Therefore we have chosen sites with high traffic volumes that still have sufficient space to set up the test course", explains Market Manager Wolfgang Raabe. The kickoff is on June 30 / July 1 on the Ballonplatz in Berlin (corner of Wilhelmstraße / Zimmerstraße). On July 7/8, the SuperFour® will be in Hamburg next to the "Restaurant Elbblick" (Elbuferweg 80). The final road show will take place on July 14/15 in the Olympiapark in Munich.
The SuperFour® is the high-end product among the Otto Bock Mobility Solutions. All-wheel steering and the independent suspension contribute to the enormous maneuverability and off-road capabilities of the outdoor vehicle. Since it can handle inclines of up to 40 percent, users with restricted mobility are once again able to reach destinations that would be unattainable with a conventional power wheelchair. An automatic seat tilt system improves safety when driving downhill. A driver’s license is not required for the SuperFour®, which reaches speeds of up to 15 km/h.
